Edward Schneider
Edward Schneider, was born in Belgium. Following a career in finance in London, Cologne, New York and Brussels, he joined the private side of Baron Frère’s Group in Belgium and subsequently the London merchant bank Henry Ansbacher, which was part of the Frère Group, where he was in charge of its international corporate finance activities. In 1995 he joined Samuel Montagu Ltd (now HSBC Investment Banking) as a director, with responsibility for European corporate finance. In 1997 he became an independent corporate finance advisor, starting the activity which was to become Innego Limited, specialising in cross-border corporate finance advice.
Edward Schneider is also a co-founder of The Fine Art Group and a non executive director of Fine Art Management Services, the company that advises the management of a number of companies and entities that are part of The Fine Art Group. In addition he is a director of Capital Gardens, a London based garden centre company. Edward Schneider is a graduate of the Solvay Business School of the University of Brussels and also holds a post graduate degree in taxation from the University of Brussels. He taught as an assistant professor and as a lecturer at the University of Brussels.
