After qualifying as a certified accountant in 1985 Iain focused on corporate finance advisory work forming his own firm I F Mackinnon & Co in 1997. Since forming this firm Iain has worked on a broad spread of transactions covering acquisition advisory, sale mandates and financing engagements for both privately held and public companies across a range of sectors but with emphasis on the business services and healthcare sectors. Throughout his career clients have valued the innovate solutions to business and financing challenges developed by Iain coupled with unbiased and objective advice putting the needs of those clients first. Iain has and continues to serve, alongside his work with the firm, on the boards of numerous companies both public and private. Outside the office, Iain is a director of Garsington Opera, having been Chairman overseeing its move to Wormsley in 2010, chairman of the Leonard Ingrams Foundation and a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
